Sarah Palin's husband, Todd, denounced Joe McGinniss' new book about
Alaska's most famous family as "disgusting lies, innuendo and smears" in
a statement.
The former governor's camp is looking to discredit the biography - a racy, detailed, provocative tell-all, even as Palin gossip goes - which is due out next week.

The part about Glen Rice nailing Sarah Palin, sadly, went unmentioned by Todd.

Tyler Hadley Indicted For Killing Parents
Tyler Hadley, the Florida teen who allegedly bludgeoned his parents to death, then partied with their dead bodies upstairs, has been indicted for murder.
He is now charged with first-degree murder, twice over.
The grand jury indictment upgrades what were originally two counts of second-degree murder with a weapon in the deaths of Blake and Mary Jo Hadley.
No motive in the Hadley case has been reported.
Acting on an anonymous tip, on Sunday morning July 17 officers
visited the Hadley home, where a "nervous" Tyler told them his parents
were out of town.
According to CNN, the grand jury heard testimony from Hadley's uncle, the lead detective in the case, a medical examiner and a crime scene investigator.
If convicted, Hadley faces a mandatory life sentence. Though he was charged as an adult, his age prevents prosecutors from seeking the death penalty.

Casey Anthony Seeing Shrink, Grief Counselor
Her parents may still be divided over her guilt, but no one disputes that whatever happened in 2008, this is one seriously messed up individual.
Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, said she would seek psychological treatment as soon as she was a free woman. Looks like that was doubly true.
Sources close to Anthony says that the acquitted murder suspect has been seeing a grief counselor and will soon see a female psychiatrist to boot.
"She needs serious help," says the source. "We'll see what this will do."
Baez said that Anthony needed treatment for the trauma of losing her child and her subsequent incarceration for the better part of three years.
Yesterday, she was ordered to pay nearly $100,000 for misleading law enforcement officials in their efforts to locate missing daughter Caylee.

Paul McCartney will wed fiancée Nancy Shevell at the same venue he
married late wife Linda - Old Marylebone Town Hall, in London - it was
revealed Friday.
The pair have posted a notice that they intend to get married there.
Earlier this week, the couple met with Superintendent Registrar Alison Cathcart, and the official notice - sometimes called banns - was made on Wednesday.
The actual wedding date has not been announced, but they may tie the
knot as early as September 30, and there has been speculation they will
wed in October.

The Beatles legend was married to the former Linda Eastman from 1969 until her death in 1998, then to Heather Mills in 2002 until their separation in 2006.

Kim Kardashian is set to partake in a new Pussycat Dolls reality
show. As executive producer, she will help scour a group of contestants
for future dolls.
American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe is also on board for the program, which will select and groom the new crop of PCD members. Sounds AMAZING.

Key Witness in Dr. Conrad Murray Case: MIA!
A pharmacist who testified he shipped massive amounts of Propofol to
Dr. Conrad Murray in the weeks leading to Michael Jackson's death is now
... gone.
Vanished, disappeared, off the grid without a trace.
While there is no sign of illegal activity, and there's certainly a good case to be made against Murray without him, it's a bizarre situation just the same.
According to prosecutors, Tim Lopez, a former pharmacist at Applied Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas, mysteriously moved to Thailand and can't be found.
Prosecutors now want a judge to let them use Lopez' previous testimony from the preliminary hearing in January, but it's unclear if that will be permitted.
During his testimony, Lopez claimed Dr. Conrad Murray ordered large quantities of Propofol, beginning on April 6, 2009. MJ died June 25 of that year.
That would certainly connect the doc to the anesthetic that killed Michael, although the precise degree of Lopez's importance isn't easy to quantify.
